Join us for a free networking breakfast hosted by AEE's Council on Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) with Featured Speaker, Susan Wickwire, Executive Director of Seattle 2030 District presenting: Government Helping Companies Achieve Their Environmental Goals, Really.

The CWEEL event features case studies of successful women-owned businesses, as well as discussing the unique barriers and opportunities these firms encounter in the marketplace. The Council on Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) seeks to develop a prominent voice for women in the industry, and to contribute to the advancement of women in leadership positions throughout the industry.

Speaker Bio

Susan Wickwire is the Executive Director of the Seattle 2030 District, an innovative private-public partnership that aims to dramatically reduce environmental impacts of building construction and operations through education and collaboration. Previously, Susan spent over 20 years with the U.S. EPA and the State Department in Washington, DC where she worked on climate change - directing national programs, managing international projects and serving on U.S. delegations to UN meetings. She received her BA in Political Science from Whitman College and her MPA from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
