As Regional Executive, Support Services, for Kaiser Permanente, Southern California Region, Scott is responsible for Medical Center operations support services functions including Environmental Services, Supply Chain, Facilities Operations and Maintenance, Food and Nutritional Services, Environmental Health and Safety, Disaster Preparedness, Telecommunications and Security Services. Additionally, Scott provides oversight and coordination with a number of National/Shared Services functions including: Procurement and Supply (Supply Chain), Facility Start-Up Services, Clinical Technology, Regional Building Operations and Property Management. Scott also acts as the Regional Sustainable Resources Officer for Southern California responsible for the overall development and execution of a sustainable energy program.

Scott began his career with Kaiser Permanente in 1996 as a Materials Manager in Sacramento, California and has held other positions including Materials Director and Assistant Hospital Administrator, Support Services, for the Orange County area.

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Scott was the Director of Purchasing at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan in Los Angeles and Purchasing Director at St Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. He began his healthcare career as a Senior Buyer at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Scott holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University, a BA from California State University Los Angeles and has completed the Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Program. He has also served as a member of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue Team. He is currently on the faculty at California State University Pomona as part of their Construction Certificate program teaching Labor and Employment Law.
