Lori has over 25 of diverse and deep experience in the energy management field; contributing to millions of dollars in energy and resource savings through energy accounting, O&M measures, behavior change, equipment upgrades, sustainable design and distributed generation.
Lori currently manages Solutions Design and Management for Customer Energy Solutions at Seattle City Light.In this role, she leads a team of multi-disciplinary energy management professionals responsible for cradle-to-grave development of a portfolio of customer solutions across all sectors and markets including solar and transportation electrification.
Lori has split her career between utility program delivery and facility energy and resource management.She has worked for all four major utilities in the Puget Sound Region implementing energy-efficiency and conservation programs with commercial and industrial customers.On the owner-side, she has managed energy and resource conservation programs within county and school district facilities.Her EE experience spans from goat barns to flight simulators, and from integrated controls to simple behavior change initiatives.
Lori has a bachelor's in Physics and German from Willamette University.She is a Certified Energy Manager, a Certified Energy Procurement Professional, and Certified Sustainable Building Advisor.Lori has been an active member of the Association of Energy Engineers; chartering and serving on the board of the local chapter, serving as Vice President for AEE Region V in 2013-2014.She currently serves on the CEM exam committee and was elected AEE Secretary for 2017.
